Bad Moons Inbound!

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

Hello- I’m the other half of this blog, LittleLeadMen!  I’ve been working on finishing several projects, but the one I’m most obsessed with is my 40k Bad Moons Ork army.  This army started very small, and grew and grew and grew!  I now have over 4000 pts of fully painted Bad Moons.  Much of the work has been done over the last 1 1/2 years, but there are plenty of newer minis being added.  Over the next week I’m going to bring everyone up to speed with the completed models for the army.

First up, here is an overview shot of the first 1000 pts I painted of the army  (click for a larger views):

The Beginning

Welcome to Little Lead Men; a simple blog to track the adventures of me (PlasticBoy) and my brother (LittleLeadMen). Here we will, hopefully, update with latest hobby projects for you all to see. Both of us have been involved in miniature hobby games for roughly 18 years, taking some breaks but eventually coming back to the little figures and games that we enjoy.

LittleLeadMen and I often have similar tastes both in the games we play and the armies we choose. But we have different takes on those armies and our modeling and painting are surely varied enough to provide a nice contrast of projects to take a gander at.

Well that’s enough of this opening post, how about a picture?! Sure.

So here is my latest project converting the dreaded FateWeaver. A monster of terribly powerful magic and Tzeentch’s most knowledgeable and therefore dangerous minion. I’m not done with him yet but he’s getting close. Still need to finish those robes and his staff (not pictured), then pick out of the details (this guy has so much bling).

Cheers,
PlasticBoy
